Kristen Nicole Tait, a 2011 graduate of Sparta Academy, recieved the fourth Kinsley Elizabeth Bulger Memorial Scholarship. The amount of the scholarship is $500 and will be awarded annaully to a Sparta Academy senior to help further his or her education.

Kristen Tait's scholarship will be sent to Faulkner State Community College, where she plans to pursue a degree in Nursing, to help cover the cost of tuition, fees, and books.

The scholarship is under the direction of the Community Foundation of South Alabama in Mobile.

Memorial Scholarship Fund Established

In Memory of Kinsley Elizabeth Bulger

Parents of Kinsley Elizabeth Bulger have established a scholarship fund in her memory under the direction of The Community Foundation of South Alabama. This scholarship will be awarded annually to a local high school senior to help further his/her education. The scholarship will be paid by the Foundation to a qualified school of higher learning of the recipients choice. The recipient will be selected by a designated committee. It will be limited to tuition, fees, and books.
